Paul is a dedicated dog behaviour specialist with a unique background that shapes his approach to canine care and training.
As a former Dog Handler for the New South Wales Police Force, Paul gained invaluable insights into dog behavior in high-pressure situations. This role provided him with a world-class education in training and understanding dogs, allowing him to develop essential skills for ensuring safety and effective communication between humans and canines.
In 2021, Paul transitioned from the police force to pursue his passion for dog training by founding Summerland Dog Training. Since then, he has continued to expand his knowledge of canine behavior and safe handling practices. His mission is to assist clients in overcoming challenges with their dogs, transforming troublesome behaviors into harmonious relationships.
In addition to his training business, Paul currently serves as a Ranger for the local council in the Northern Rivers of NSW. This role allows him to contribute to the community while furthering his expertise in responsible dog ownership and welfare.
Paul is truly passionate about training and educating both dogs and their owners. He holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, equipping him to deliver effective instruction and support to those seeking to enhance their understanding of canine behaviour.
